We’re going to the Panto – “oh yes we are”!
For some, the Panto is an annual pilgrimage for friends and families who keep the tradition going and for others it’s something that just passes by. This year ArtSpeak has secured some affordable tickets, so why not give the Panto a go? You never know how you are going to find it until you try it, and the best bit is you’ll be with other people and have the chance to have a chat during the interval and after the show.
Are you tempted? Then why not join us at Nottingham Playhouse for this year’s Pantomime of Dick Whittington, which returns full of sparkle and fun.
The hero’s incredible escapades take him onto the High Seas, into battle with the evil King Rat and see him fall head over heels in love with his boss’s daughter Alice. All the while the magical Bow Bells are whispering his destiny – to become Mayor of London!
As usual the Panto is packed with dance, a brilliant live band and some swashbuckling adventure. The show also reunites us with Nottingham’s favourite pantomime Dame, John Elkington, who’ll be serving up some comedy chaos as Sarah the Cook.
Thursday 8 December, 19:30 onwards
Nottingham Playhouse, Wellington Circus, NG1 5AF
£8 per ticket (Payable on the night either cash or cheque made payable to Radford Care Group)
